Some useful tips

Vicopisano provides motorhome drivers two equipped areas where they can stop for a few days in total tranquillity, both in an area with access to the town's historic centre.

The Municipality of Vicopisano has set up two parking areas for the needs of those who own a motorhome and use it for their tourist trips.

The equipped parking area is located in Piazza Comunardo Ferrucci, at the beginning of Viale Diaz in the immediate vicinity of the Palazzetto dello Sport, and is equipped with: - public lighting - chemical toilet disposal - water supply - free wi-fi connection - video surveillance. The area is located in an access area to the medieval village of Vicopisano, which can be easily reached on foot along the footpath that leads to the town centre in 10 minutes.
A second camper van parking area, not equipped, is located along the Rio Magno in the immediate vicinity of the historic centre.
